Farmers in Finland have purchased the first two combine harvesters from Rostselmash, said the Russian sales office in Finland.
As reported on July 15, the Russian manufacturer of agricultural machinery Rostselmash Group entered into a dealership agreement with the Finnish company Heftway Oy and entered the Nordic market for the first time.
“The first two combine harvesters were delivered through the representative office of Rostselmash in Germany, but after the increase in volumes, direct export deliveries from Russia are planned,” the representative said.
Rostselmash plans to develop a comprehensive strategy for development in Northern Europe in the near future, considering the possibility of exporting products from Russia to other countries through the Finnish ports of Turku and Kotka.
Finnish distributor Heftway Oy plans in the future to create a dealer network of eight centers, which will take about 10% of the highly competitive market and supply up to 40 units of equipment to Finland annually, the trade representative said.
