Export of oxygen, including medical, from Finland to Russia increased by 868%

The export of oxygen, including medical oxygen for patients with coronavirus, from Finland to Russia from January to August increased by 868%, the volume of exports is classified, said Finnish customs spokesman Anis Kaarna on Tuesday.

“Oxygen exports from January to August amounted to 229,761 euros, an increase in the product category by 868.6%, the export volumes were not disclosed,” noted at the customs.

Earlier, on July 16, the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov said that Russia is considering the possibility of importing medical oxygen in order to eliminate any possible risks with its supply and optimize logistics. Finland was named by the minister of one of the countries for the possibility of importing medical oxygen on a permanent basis in the amount of 240 tons per month.
