The overwhelming majority of Finnish residents – 90% are satisfied with the work of the country’s President Sauli Niinistö, follows from a Kantar TNS poll commissioned by the country’s largest newspaper Helsingin Sanomat.
These are the best marks for assessing Niinistö’s performance during his entire presidency.
“In total, 90% of Finns believe that Niinistö is doing very well or pretty well in his duties,” the message says.
2% are dissatisfied with the work of the head of the country, 6% gave a neutral assessment, 2% were undecided about the answer.
Sauli Niinistö holds the post of the head of Finland for the second and last term in a row, and has been serving as the country’s president since March 1, 2012.
The survey is conducted twice a year.
The study was conducted by Kantar TNS on behalf of Helsingin Sanomat from June 21 to July 1 via telephone interviews. 1003 people aged 18-79 were interviewed, excluding the Aland Islands. Accuracy 3.1%.
