Finnair to open direct flights from Sweden to the USA and Thailand

Finnish national carrier Finnair will open direct non-stop flights from Stockholm to Thailand’s Bangkok and Phuket, as well as Miami in the United States, on a winter schedule, the company said.
“We are delighted to meet the travel needs of our Swedish clients with non-stop flights from Arlanda (Stockholm airport) to Thailand and Miami, which are some of the best winter destinations for Swedes. The new flights will strengthen our offer in the Swedish market, ”says Ole Orver, Chief Commercial Officer of Finnair.
All three routes will be operated by Airbus A350 aircraft.
Flights to Bangkok will start from October 22 five times a week, from November 28 they will become daily and will operate until April 22, 2022.
Flights to Phuket will be operated on Sundays from October 24th, additional frequency will be added from November 4th, and from November 30th there will be three flights per week. Flights to Phuket will be operated until April 21, 2022.
Flights from Arlanda to Miami will begin on two weekly frequencies, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, starting October 23rd. From November 29, flights will also be operated on Monday and Friday until April 22, 2022.
Finnair also flies to Bangkok, Phuket and Miami from Helsinki Airport.
